Customer Reviews

My hubby is not a very adventurous eater but tonight he let me talk him into Pita House in Battle Ground. Neither of us had had Mediterranean food before and we loved it!! My husband asked if we can come back tomorrow and try the Gyro We split the Garlic Lemon Chicken entree which came with a hummus plate, pita bread, rice, tzatziki sauce and their house salad which is cucumber, onion and tomatoes and we got 1 lamb skewer. First off we couldn't finish everything and took food home! Secondly it was literally some of the best food we've ever eaten! The meat was juicy and so full of flavor, the pita was hot and the hummus was some of the best we've had and the rice is addicting! Thirdly the service was absolutely amazing, who I'm assuming was the owner and his daughter were so incredibly friendly and personable!! We ended the dinner with pistachio baklava and Turkish coffee which was also delicious! Can't recommend this place enough! (Sorry, forgot to take a pic of the lamb skewer before we dug in lol but it had 8 large pieces of lamb on it)

Where to start.. We got the Gyro Salad, Lamb and chicken special, with Turkish coffee and baklavas. The pita bread and hummus was the best I've ever had. All our plates were amazing. The walnut and pistachio baklavas were the best we've ever had. The service was outstanding. We felt like we were at a 5 star restaurant by how we were treated. The Turkish coffee was fresh and so tasteful. The owner was incredibly nice, super fun, and the woman working was the same way- the type of people who lite up the whole room! We live in Oregon but came again because my husband remembered the service he had 6 years ago, and it was the same today as it was then. I just can't say enough good things about this place. The price is affordable, the bathrooms are clean, food is great, everything was just.. excellent. We would love to visit again. Thank you for having us!

It was an incredible experience. I had my first taste of Turkish food and coffee, and it was fantastic. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered a cups of coffee by refill 3 times which I thought would keep me awake for days, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could sleep like a baby! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Never had much middle eastern food prior to this and was pleasantly surprised. The food is delicious and not in a slap you in the face way a lot of the food is now. There are more subtle undertones from the chicken and pita bread. But the fruit was a surprise, very juicy and fresh seasoned well and was delectable when combined with the chicken and rice from my shawarma. Look forward to eating here again sometime.

First time ever going here, and let me tell you - From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we walked out smiling, it was nothing short from a phenomenal experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the Turkish coffee was sooooo good (also a first for us) and the pistachio baklava was absolutely AMAZING. The best part of the experience though was the service!! Probably the BEST table service I've ever had in my life, no joke... and being 47 years old I've been around the block a few times. We'll definitely be coming back, and I'll definitely be recommending to everyone I know!! Thank you Pita House for the amazing experience!!
